Built in 2007, this is Canada’s first LEED® Gold sorting and recycling centre and features a 770 ft² MatrixAir™ transpired collector aesthetically adorning the southern façade of this modern structure. Desigend by Campanella & Assoc. and Blouin Tardif Architecture up to 75,000 metric tonnes of material is recycled each year. Winner of l’Agence québécoise de la maîtrise de l’énergie (AQME) Energia 2008 in the Sustainable Buildings category.

MatrixAir® systems are patented in the United Sates and Canada : 8276580 (US), 2559641 and 2690650 (CA); other patents are pending.
